We’re happy to share that our new Dallas server is now up and running.
This machine is a Dual Intel Xeon Gold 6138 system with 256 GB of DDR4 memory, two 1.6TB enterprise-grade NVMe drives, and a 10 Gbit network connection. Compared to our previous generation servers (Ryzen 5 5600 with 64 GB RAM and 1 Gbit networking), this is a significant step forward in both processing power and bandwidth.
We take a simple approach to infrastructure: keep servers fresh, fast, and reliable. That’s why we aim to introduce new hardware every two years. It’s not about chasing specs, it’s about making sure your sites continue to run smoothly without bottlenecks.
This Dallas system is also our second Xeon Gold 6138 deployment, joining its twin in New York. With this addition, we’re continuing to grow our capacity and improve performance across locations.
